PS Kello Harsama Reaffirms Commitment to Dialogue and Teamwork in ASAL Department
Principal Secretary,for the State Department for ASALs and Regional Development, Kello Harsama, convened a staff meeting that brought together departmental staff and heads of directorates. The session served as a platform for engagement, questions, and open discussions on strengthening teamwork and service delivery within the Department.
In his remarks, PS Harsama reaffirmed his commitment to open dialogue, teamwork, and effective service delivery, emphasizing that these principles are central to achieving the Department’s mandate. He further underscored the importance of creating a supportive and comfortable work environment, noting that staff welfare remains a priority in driving productivity and quality output.
The Principal Secretary also encouraged employees to remain dedicated to collective goals in line with the Public Service Code of Conduct. He reminded staff that professionalism, accountability, and collaboration are key to building an inclusive and results-oriented culture within the State Department.
The meeting highlighted the State Department’s ongoing efforts to foster unity, inclusivity, and a people-centered approach to service delivery, with staff welcoming the opportunity to directly engage with the Principal Secretary.
